2008 Pangos Dream Classic Tickets Now On Sale
@ UCLA Pauley Pavilion (Los Angeles CA)
The 2008 Pangos Dream Classic will be held on Saturday January 19, 2008 at UCLA Pauley Pavilion (Los Angeles CA). This 14th annual high school basketball event (hosted by Dominguez HS) will showcase six of California's and the nation's top boys high school squads, including the nation's #1 junior Derrick Favors and Top 10 all-americans like senior Jrue Holiday (UCLA signee) and junior Jordan Hamilton.
In a recent change to the schedule King (Riverside CA) has replaced Hargrave Military Academy. King is 15-1 and ranked #9 by the Los Angeles Times.
The 2008 Pangos Dream Classic schedule is a follows:
6:00pm Windward (Los Angeles CA) vs. Cabrillo (Long Beach CA)
7:30pm Dominguez (Compton CA) vs. King (Riverside CA)
9:00pm Campbell Hall (North Hollywood CA) vs. South Atlanta (Atlanta GA)

Past Dream Classic's has showcased many future NBA stars. The 2003 Pangos Dream Classic featured the #1 pick of the 2003 NBA Draft LeBron James (Cleveland Cavaliers) and attracted 12,500-plus fans, media and scouts to UCLA's Pauley Pavilion as well as a national ESPN2 audience. The 2004 Dream Classic was headlined by three of the top 13 picks of the 2004 NBA Draft: #1 pick Dwight Howard (Orlando Magic), #12 selection Robert Swift (Seattle Supersonics) and the #13 choice Sebastian Telfair (Portland Trailblazers/Minnesota Timberwolves). Ticket prices are $15.00 for floor level seats and $10 for general admission and are available at the UCLA ticket office, Ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets.
